Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

This Refund Policy outlines the refund process for event tickets purchased through our website and Zeffy.

 

1. Scope
This policy applies to paid event tickets purchased through Zeffy for Rising Tide Youth Movement events. Rising Tide does not charge fees for registrations, so there are no registration refunds.

 

2. Ticket Sales Are Generally Final
Unless stated otherwise on a specific event page, ticket purchases are generally nonrefundable. This helps us plan venues, staffing, food, supplies, and safety support based on expected attendance.

 

3. When We Will Offer Ticket Refunds or Options
A. If Rising Tide cancels an event
If Rising Tide cancels an event, we will offer ticket holders one of the following options, when feasible:
A full refund of the ticket price, or
A transfer of the ticket to a rescheduled date, or
A conversion of the ticket purchase to a charitable contribution, if the ticket holder chooses

B. If Rising Tide reschedules an event
If an event is rescheduled, we will provide ticket holders with clear options, which may include honoring the ticket for the new date. Refund eligibility, if offered, will be communicated at the time of rescheduling.

C. Duplicate charges or obvious payment errors
If you believe you were charged twice or entered the wrong ticket quantity by mistake, contact us as soon as possible. We will review and, when appropriate, issue a refund or other reasonable correction.

D. Fraud or unauthorized transactions
If you believe a purchase was unauthorized, notify us promptly and also contact your bank or card issuer as needed. We will cooperate with the payment platform’s dispute process.

 

4. No Shows and Change of Plans
Ticket refunds are not provided for a change of plans, inability to attend, or no-show attendance unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated on the event page.

 

5. How Refunds Work Through Zeffy
Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Zeffy.

Important notes:
Some payment methods, such as ACH or PAD, may have timing restrictions. In some cases, refunds may only be available after a waiting period determined by the payment platform.
Refunds can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

 

6. Voluntary Contribution to Zeffy
At checkout, Zeffy may ask the buyer to add an optional voluntary contribution to support Zeffy. This amount is separate from your ticket purchase and is not paid to Rising Tide.

If a buyer wants a refund of the voluntary contribution to Zeffy, that request must be handled by Zeffy, not Rising Tide.

 

7. How to Request a Refund Review
To request a refund review, contact us and include:
Your name
The email used at checkout
Event name
Purchase date
Amount charged
Reason for request

8. Policy Updates
