BRIAN K MOORE

Brian K. Moore is a seasoned human resources leader and executive with over two decades of experience spanning the private sector and the United States Army. Brian is the President and Executive Director of Rising Tide Youth Movement, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families through holistic development and economic opportunity.
​
Brian completed his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Post University in March 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the same institution. His academic background is complemented by Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a robust command of process improvement methodologies.
Throughout his career, Brian has held pivotal HR leadership roles in organizations such as ProAmpac and Smithfield Foods, where he managed end-to-end talent acquisition, employee benefits administration, payroll, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Notably, his implementation of a Lean Six Sigma project at Smithfield Foods reduced departmental turnover by 60%, saving the company $150,000 and fostering a healthier work environment.

Brian’s distinguished 24-year career in the United States Army included roles such as Recruiting Director and Senior Human Resources Manager, where he led teams to national recognition and mentored future leaders. He has earned accolades, including Recruiting Director of the Year and the Iron Man Award for Physical Fitness. Brian is a dedicated husband and father of five children.
AYANA SALLEE

Ayana Sallee is a dynamic and purpose-driven program management professional with a strong background in scholarship administration, stakeholder engagement, and community development. Ayana received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Howard University, where her passion for grassroots community engagement was deepened. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in public administration, with a concentration in public and nonprofit management. Ayana currently serves as a Program Coordinator at the UNCF, where she manages donor relations, system strategy, and coordinates cross-functional teams.
With a passion for equitable access to education and youth empowerment, Ayana brings a unique blend of operational expertise, data-driven decision-making, and relationship-building to every initiative she supports. In addition to her professional role, she is the Internal Committee Chair for UNCF’s Young Professionals affinity group, where she leads internal programming to support early-career staff and amplify employee voices.
As a board member, Ayana is committed to advancing the mission of community-rooted organizations through thoughtful leadership, intentional programming, and a deep dedication to sustainable impact.
